NEX engineers therefore came up with the idea of developing Odors Elimination System in the industrial
sector with MicroPlasma BiPolar Ionization technology especially in areas with poor ventilation to eliminate
pain points regarding odors, damp odors, and toxic odors from chemicals or odor caused by bacteria which
are all extremely dangerous for the human respiratory system, such as in wastewater treatment areas, parking
floor of the building, locomotive maintenance garage, large hotel’s kitchens, slaughterhouses, animal clinics
or hospitals etc.
Sewage odors are one of many cases that can cause corrosion of wastewater treatment infrastructure
sewerage system metal structure and electrical equipment which may be harmful to human health.
Sewage odor, the most common cause is hydrogen sulfide gas (H2S). H2S is a highly flammable gas
acutely toxic and it is dangerous at low concentrations of H2S. It can cause a bad smell to the surrounding
community and if the concentration is higher can cause corrosion and may be toxic which can be
life-threatening.
Chemical reaction of Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) (hydrogen sulfide) when reacting with Hydroxyl Ions
(OH-) created from NEX AirGuard AG301 : Odors Eliminator.
H2S + OH- = HS- + H2O
Hydrogen Sulfide + Hydroxyl Ions = Sulfur + Water
Makes the smell and poison from Hydrogen Sulfide change the chemical bond to sulfur + water.
One mole of Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) and two moles of Hydroxyl Radical (OH) react to form one of
mole of Sulfur (S) and two moles of water (H2O)
